Excursions in the Region, Partner Links

Lucerne is the springboard to a very special part of the planet – the Lake Lucerne region. The mountains are calling! Spectacular excursions to the heights are offered by the Rigi, queen of mountains, as well as the pivoting aerial cableway to the eternal snows of the Titlis and the world’s steepest rack railway on the Pilatus. The Entlebuch UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with its fore-alpine moorland and karstic landscape, offers you unforgettable experiences and relaxation in breathtaking natural surroundings. A boat trip on the incomparable    Lake Lucerne, with Europe’s largest inland navigation system and a big fleet of steam ships, is an absolute must. Starting from Lucerne, you can reach famed locations on the Lucerne Riviera in a short space of time.
The Vierwaldstättersee region offers wonderful experiences both in summer and in winter.
