Since 1988 Roberto’s son Robert Niederer, with the help of the Glasi-Lüüt [Glass People], has been continuing the work of his father. The Glasi now has around 100 employees.
Today we have a number of designers successfully working as a team for the Roberto Niederer brand. The basis for their approach is craft workmanship, together with the ongoing search for new forms using environmentally friendly lead-free glass. Robert Niederer has reconstructed the Glasi and opened it to the public. Today the Glasi has a museum, various exhibitions, a Glass Labyrinth, two shops, a restaurant, two bars, a pub and a children’s playground.
